Rafique to guide Rangpur Riders’ bowling

Former Bangladeshi prolific spinner Mohammad Rafique has been appointed as the bowling coach of Rangpur Riders. Rafique served Bangladesh as a specialist left-arm spinner for 13 years.

The joining of Mohammad Rafique as a coach of Rangpur Riders will surely help their team a lot as there are four specialist left-arm spinners in their team. Along with the national team star Shakib Al Hasan and Arafat Sunny, Rangpur has also Saqline Sajib and Murad Khan in their team.

Rafique has the experience of working as a coach in domestic cricket. After his retirement from international cricket in 2008 he showed his interest to take coaching as a profession many times. He was the bowling coach of Dhaka Gladiators in the previous season of BPL as well.

Mohammad Rafique had played 33 Test matches, 125 One day matches along with a single T20 match. This legendary cricketer of Bangladesh grabbed 100 Test and 125 one day wickets during his journey in international cricket. Besides he managed to score 1,059 and 1,191 runs respectively in Test and One
