Duronto Rajshahi captain Tamim Iqbal has been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during his team's Prime Bank BPL T20 match against Sylhet Royals at the SBNCS on Sunday, 20 January.
Match Referee ASM Roquibul Hassan imposed a fine of USD 628 (US Dollar Six Hundred twenty eight) on Iqbal after Rajshahi were ruled to be two (02) overs short at the end of their innings when time allowances were taken into consideration as per the tournament’s playing condition.
Tamim Iqbal accepted the offence and the sanction and as such no formal hearing was required.
