"Mashrafe is the greatest strength of the Victorians” – Salahuddin

Comilla Victorians is one of the two franchises in the third edition of the Bangladesh Premier League who has appointed a local coach to guide their team. And after being officially in charge of the team, Mohammad Salahuddin has stated that he just wants to take his team in the highest peak of success in this tournament.

Salahuddin has expressed his contentment in this regard and reckoned the difficulties of taking the responsibilities of a totally new team, “It is in fact considerably challenging to guide a new team although Victorians came out with a strong combination of performers in the player’s by choice. We have a blend of youth and experience in the team and everyone is professional, they know what to do in a particular situation.”

In the midst of towering controversies over electing of national ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza in the team, Salahuddin poured incomputable words of appreciation for the pacer saying, “The greatest strength of the Victorians is Mashrafe Bin Mortaza. We are lucky to have him in the team. Mashrafe’s presence always inspires others in the team.”

Hurrying for preparation, Salahuddin informed that he will be straight into the practice field from next week with as many players available for the team by that time as Bangladesh national team will be busy with their bilateral series against Zimbabwe, scheduled to start from 7th of November.

Comilla Victorians will face the Dhaka Dynamites in the second match of the tournament at 22nd of November.
