Mushfiqur aims at top two

Mushfiqur Rahim, the Test captain of Bangladesh cricket team, is the icon cricketer of Sylhet Superstars in the third season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He will also be leading the the side in this year’s BPL like the previous two seasons. Ahead of the cash-rich tournament, Mushfiqur said he is looking to keep Sylhet among the top two sides.
Mr. Dependable also added that he will be trying to become the best contributor from his team. But at the same time time he further added that the task will be quite difficult, given the fact that the other five teams are equally balanced and can emerge as strong competitives.
“We have got a balanced side. We have quality pacers, left and right arm spinners, hard hitter batsmen, agile fielders – anything you want to form a formidable T20 side. Overall our team is good enough to throw a fight against anyone. But at the end of the day, the performance you deliver in the field is the key. We have got a good side, and now we need to reflect our brilliance in the field,” said Mushfiqur Rahim, who was awarded the Player of the Series in the recently concluded ODI series against Zimbabwe.
Mushfiqur however is a bit tensed about the country’s premier paceman Rubel Hossain, who is recovering from an injury and still doubtful to take part in all the matches for Sylhet. “It’s a bad news if Rubel can not play all the matches. He is our biggest weapon in the pace attack. His absence may drag us into backfoot.”
